Cockermouth Ukulele Band

The Cockermouth Ukulele Band are a group of friends who enjoy meeting up, singing and playing together.  We aim to have fun as we develop and improve as musicians. The Cockermouth Ukulele Band perform for a variety of audiences and events within the local community and have regularly performed at Cockermouth Live, agricultural shows and local festivals. Over the years fund-raising performances have helped, among others, Hospice at Home, North Air Ambulance, Mountain Rescue Teams, the National Trust, North Lakes Food Bank, flood recovery and those suffering from the effects of the war in Ukraine.

Thanks for your Generosity - The band has been busy raising money for a variety of charities during 2023. Thanks to a very generous public a total of £2378.50 has dropped into the collecting buckets at our performances. We are proud to have helped North Lakes Food Bank, the Turkey Earthquake Appeal, Bridget’s Magical Music Pot, North Lakes Squirrel Initiative and West Cumbria Hospice at Home. Many thanks to all who have dipped their hands into their pockets.
